Presentation Guidelines
To ensure a smooth and well-balanced program, please follow the time allocations below. These timings include both presentation and discussion, and will be strictly respected during the conference.
Keynotes
- Total duration: 60 minutes (2 speakers)
- Per speaker:
- 25 minutes presentation
- 5 minutes for questions and transition
- Q&A format:
- Questions typically follow each presentation.
Invited Symposia
- Total duration: 90 minutes (3 speakers)
- Per speaker:
- 25 minutes presentation
- 5 minutes for questions and transition
- Q&A format:
- The organization of questions (after each talk or at the end) is left to the discretion of the symposium organizers.
- Timing is managed by the symposium organizing team.
Regular Symposia
- Total duration: 90 minutes (4 speakers)
- Per speaker:
- 18 minutes presentation
- 4–5 minutes for questions and transition
- Q&A format:
- The organization of questions (after each talk or at the end) is left to the discretion of the symposium organizers.
- Timing is managed by the symposium organizing team.
Oral Sessions
- Total duration: 60–80 minutes (4–5 speakers)
- Per speaker:
- 12 minutes presentation
- 4 minutes for questions and transition
- Q&A format:
- Questions take place immediately after each presentation.
- Timing is strictly managed by the organizing team on site.
Rapid Fire Sessions
- Total duration: 80 minutes (8 speakers)
- Per speaker:
- 7 minutes presentation
- 3 minutes for questions and transition
- Q&A format:
- Questions take place immediately after each presentation.
- Timing is strictly managed by the organizing team on site.
Important Notes
- Time limits will be strictly enforced to ensure fairness and a high-quality experience for all participants.
- Please rehearse your presentation in advance to fit within your allocated time.
- Session chairs and organizing staff will support timekeeping and transitions.
Poster Sessions
- Poster format: A0, portrait (vertical orientation)
- Dimensions:
– Height: 1189 mm / 46.8 inches
– Width: 841 mm / 33.1 inches - Display format:
– Posters must be printed in advance by presenters (no on-site printing).
– Posters will be displayed during dedicated poster sessions.
– Please ensure your poster is in portrait format, as landscape posters cannot be accommodated. - Interaction format:
– Presenters are expected to be present next to their poster during the assigned session to discuss their work and answer questions.
