It is our great pleasure to invite you to the ninth edition of the International Conference on Self-Determination Theory (SDT), bringing together scholars, practitioners, and students from around the world who share a passion for advancing SDT research and practice.
Held in the heart of Geneva, Switzerland, this 2026 edition will provide a unique opportunity to explore the latest advances in SDT, foster meaningful exchanges across disciplines, and strengthen our community’s collaborative spirit.
Geneva, with its rich cultural heritage and tradition of international dialogue, offers the perfect setting to host this event. Situated by the lake and surrounded by the Alps, it combines an inspiring environment with a vibrant academic atmosphere.
The conference will feature keynote lectures from leading voices in the field, symposia highlighting cutting-edge research, workshops, and numerous opportunities for networking and collaboration. C’est avec un immense plaisir que nous vous invitons à participer à la neuvième édition de la Conférence internationale sur la théorie de l’autodétermination (SDT), qui réunira des chercheurs, praticiens et étudiants du monde entier partageant un même intérêt pour l’avancement de la recherche et des pratiques liées à la SDT.
Organisée au cœur de Genève, en Suisse, cette édition 2026 constituera une occasion unique d’explorer les avancées les plus récentes de la SDT, de favoriser des échanges riches et interdisciplinaires, et de renforcer l’esprit collaboratif de notre communauté.
Genève, avec son riche patrimoine culturel et sa tradition de dialogue international, offre un cadre idéal pour accueillir cet événement. Située au bord du lac et entourée des Alpes, elle allie un environnement inspirant à une atmosphère académique dynamique.
